Just for Girls
GirlsAllowed!
This website focuses on "healthy relationships and healthy living" for pre-teens and teens. Follow animated character Anni as she struggles with the same issues that many girls today face - dating, dieting, peer pressure, communication and even abusive or unhealthy relationships. Each "episode" features an activity that will help girls relate the day's lesson to their own lives. Sponsored by the Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence.
Powerful Bones. Powerful Girls.
This website is a fun way for girls to learn about the role of nutrition and excercise in building and maintaining bone mass. Features games, puzzles, interactive activities and more. Sponsored by the Department of Health and Human Services' Office on Women's Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the National Osteoporosis Foundation.
SmartGirl
A safe, friendly place for girls to express their feelings and opinions on a variety of topics.
