MPT Ready to Play Games with FableVision

After considering a wide range of extremely well-qualified national and international candidates, MPT has selected educational multimedia design studio FableVision as its newest collaborator on the LG2G project.

As the project game developer, FableVision will work with MIT and MPT to bring the LG2G game to life, incorporating the creative and educational visions of the entire team. "We are thrilled to be partnering with FableVision," said MPT Chief Education Officer and Senior Vice President Gail Long. "One of the great things about them is that they are mission-based. And we feel like we share that mission. That, and the amazing work they’ve done, made FableVision the very best choice for Learning Games to Go."

And who else enjoys collaborating with FableVision?   Just to name a few . . .   PBS, the Sesame Workshop, Nickelodeon, Scholastic, Random House, PBS station KCET, The Jim Henson Company and many, many more.

Founded by educational technology pioneer and author/illustrator Peter H. Reynolds (The Dot, Ish, The North Star) FableVision also creates its own award-winning educational products for the national and international K12 market.

"What an honor it is to collaborate with MPT, MIT – together we have an incredible blend of game and learning theory, media and interactive development talent, and knowledge of the classroom, students and educators, as well as expertise in emerging content distribution," shares Paul Reynolds, FableVision's President (and Peter's identical twin brother!)  He adds, "We want to reach all students, but especially those who are struggling with math or reading – with a product that is irresistible to a new generation of gaming-native kids."

Find out more about FableVision at their website. And of course, you’ll be able to learn about their LG2G work here at the Update.
