LG2G News

It is yet another busy month for the LG2G project. Here are some of the key pieces of work that are happening right now:

• We are recruiting an Advance Team of teachers who will help in the creation and testing of the LG2G game and curriculum. The teachers will come from our partner school districts: Allegheny, Baltimore, Dorchester and Caroline County Public Schools and the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The first meeting of the Advance Team is scheduled to take place in early August.
• We are reviewing the first LG2G game design document, which was recently submitted by the team at MIT’s Education Arcade. (To learn more about the game design document, see the MIT section of this month’s newsletter.)
• We are doing a major survey of state and national education standards so we can ensure that LG2G’s content will be in full alignment with them.
