Pocomoke Middle School
Music Teacher
Worcester County Public Schools

Rodney Comeaux, a music teacher at Pocomoke Middle School, bought his first computer in 2000. In the seven years since, he has become a technology leader in the Worcester County Public School System, serving as an instructor in the Worcester County Public School Tech Institute. He is the co-chair of the Pocomoke Middle School Accreditation for Growth Technology Action Team. His daily responsibilities include coordinating televised live morning announcements and training teachers and students. While pursing his master’s in instructional technology, he developed a WebQuest about Thomas Wiggins Bethune—a blind, autistic slave—and involved his students in the project’s design and content.
