Through the Fulbright Program, Kevin Giffhorn, mathematics department chair at Liberty High School in Carroll County, went as far as Japan in search of new ways to use technology in the classroom. Students were able to follow him on his trip through blog postings. In the classroom, he incorporates technology into every lesson by using a whiteboard, wireless writing tablets, and individual student response devices. Colleagues have directly benefited from his willingness to explore technology and share his methods with others.
