Technology literacy teacher Dina Kropkowski of Bel Air Middle School helped to educate Harford County students about how to protect themselves. As lead district curriculum writer for technology literacy, she created an eighth grade curriculum on Internet safety called “Working in the Digital World.” Her duties extend far beyond curriculum writing. She is a software specialist and trainer for the county school system. At her school she is a member of the School Improvement Team and mentors colleagues in integrating technology into instruction. She is currently revising the school’s technology plan.
