Jodi O’Neill, a technology integration teacher in Baltimore County, is involved in Fullerton Elementary School’s technology programs at every step. She integrates technology daily into lessons, is a co-leader of an after school technology club, and works one-on-one with students with Kurzweil 3000, software that supports struggling readers and students with learning disabilities. She models use of technology during staff meetings and professional development sessions, and holds before-school training sessions for her colleagues to demonstrate how to use computer and software features and to incorporate software such as PowerPoint into teaching lessons. She has even found a use for technology at the end of its lifecycle by turning community e-cycling into revenue for the school.
