X-Power
This series focuses on the adventures of an ethnically diverse team of five 8th/9th graders, each with his/her own strength vis a vis representing problems - visual, numerical, graphical, reflecting the different styles with which students address problems they encounter.
X-Power is designed to support the classroom teacher - primarily to either introduce or review a concept. It has been created to maximize television's ability to deliver information in a visually unique fashion - one that can not be duplicated in texbooks, on blackboards or in verbal discussion. It is one more tool that teacher's can use to enhance instruction.
