MPT: Asking Educators "Got Game?"

Podcasts? Blogs? Virtual newsletters? It's all happening right here as MPT works to make the "Got Game?" web site bigger and hopefully, better. "New technologies are a really important part of this project," says Ann Klimas, MPT’s Director of Instructional Design and Educational Content. "It just seems natural that we should use some of those technologies to reach out to the larger world."

MPTThe past month has seen the premiere of the first LG2G podcast (available here and through iTunes) and the Newbie blog (about one middle-aged man’s heroic efforts to learn how to play video games…). There have also been several general updates about learning games in the In the News section. Happily, says Ann, word about LG2G is beginning to spread. "We're starting to get responses from educators who have visited the site. It's very exciting and really an indication that people are looking for a project like this."

MPT would love to hear your thoughts about LG2G, so email us at gotgame@thinkport.org. And don’t forget to bookmark the "Got Game?" site in your browser.
