Sudlersville Elementary
4th Grade
Queen Anne's County

In Queen Anne’s County, Amanda Phillips' name has become synonymous with SmartBoard technology. In 2005, this fourth grade teacher volunteered to be on the Queen Anne's pilot team that first mastered and then introduced this technology in the county.  Her students and peers at Sudlersville Elementary were the first to benefit from this training as she integrated SmartBoard into her curriculum.  She continues to "spread the word" throughout the county, serving on a summer 2005 curriculum development team to create technology-infused lesson plans for grades 1 through 5. Mrs. Phillips has been teaching since 1999.
