Animal Trackers— It's Nature Week and George is taking pictures of wild animals and their tracks for the big exhibit. Bullfrogs, squirrels, raccoons and hawks are all nice, but George wants a picture of something really exciting and unusual. While George searches for the fawn Bill spotted, he finds an unusual set of tracks that look like a cross between a gigantic duck and a colossal snake. 9:30am

Prince Wednesday Doesn't Want to Play— Daniel's Doll— Daniel receives a new doll from his Grandpere, and he can't wait to pretend to be the daddy. When Katerina and O insist that Daniel pretends to be Tige-y the Adventure Tiger instead, Daniel reminds them that you can be more than one thing. 10:30am

elinorThe Town Picnic — It's time for the Animal Town picnic, but Ari is growing impatient waiting for Ms. Llama's famous ketchup, which just won't come out of the bottle. Meanwhile, Elinor and her friends follow a bee to its hive and observe the honey-making process, where they discover that honey is goopier when it has less water in it. Using this new-found knowledge, the kids are inspired to solve M. Llama's ketchup problem by adding water and making it less goopy, just in time for Ari to enjoy his delicious sandwich.
The Amazing Expandable Clubhouse— Elinor, Olive and Ari are happy to welcome new members to The Explorer's Club, but as more and more kids join, a big problem arises: their clubhouse isn't big enough to fit all the new Explorers! When the entire Clubhouse rolls down the hill, Elinor and her friends need to find a solution. After observing their snail friends, Norma and Lulu, they realize that a snail's shell expands as it grows, which gives them the idea to EXPAND their Clubhouse, adding new sections to make it nice and spacious for all to play! 11:00am

Big Bird Across America — Big Bird wants to visit Cousin Bird in California but he lives to too far for Big Bird to walk. Nina offers to take Big Bird on a road trip to visit Cousin Bird. Nina explains that they can even stop in different parts of the country to meet new friends and learn more about where they live. When Nina and Big Bird are packed and ready to go, Elmo mentions that he's going to miss Big Bird. Nina then comes up with an idea of calling Elmo while they're traveling so that he can still see Big Bird and meet new friends too. 11:30am

Invasion of the Flutterbugs — The Pinkertons are shocked to find their house is suddenly swarming with Flutterbugs! What could possibly be drawing them in and more importantly, how can Pinkalicious and Peter get them to leave?
Ballet of the Bells — Pinkalicious and Peter find a box of handbells and their playing attracts the fairy, Bellerina! She tells them that if they continue practicing, even more fairies will come dance to their music. But can the show go on when Peter accidentally breaks one of the bells? 12:00pm

Underwater Race — The Pteranodon Family, with the Conductor, have raced on land a few times and in the air against Thurston Troodon, but have never raced in the water! So, after Thurston shows up in his own souped-up, "state-of-the-art" submarine, the challenge is on! Buddy, Tiny, and Mrs. Pteranodon are with Mr. Conductor in the Dinosaur Train Submarine, racing across the great Western Interior Sea against Thurston, Shiny, Don, and Mr. Pteranodon!
Buddy Wants to Fly— For 4 seasons, Buddy has run along while his siblings fly, although sometimes they carry him. When Shiny complains that Buddy is getting too big to carry around Pteranodon Terrace, Buddy feels sad for a little while, then decides to do something about it - build himself his own set of wings! Our Pteranodon kids love this, and they get to work designing and engineering, starting with funny homemade versions, a try-and-fail sequence with some hilarious crashes and some success, leading up to a cool, Leonardo-esque set of mechanical wings. 12:30pm

Sunspot joins Sean and helps him work out engineering problems so he can entertain himself - and even fly a kit from his room! 6:30am

Kung Fool— Fern volunteers to help an elderly neighbor, Tony Wu, with his household chores, and then discovers his past life as a Kung Fu celebrity. But will Fern be disappointed to learn that dish cleaning and laundry folding are not really part of some special martial arts training? A Monkey, A Plan, A Canal — Oh no! George and Allie find that a dry spell has lowered the water level of Lake Wanasink Lake and one of their fish friends got trapped in a small pond away from it's family! What's a monkey and girl to do? 9:30am

Fruit Picking Day — Daniel and his friends are enjoying a Fruit Festival in the Enchanted Garden. Prince Wednesday grows upset because his big brother Prince Tuesday can pick the highest fruit off the tree branches, but he can't. He wishes he wasn't so little! Then, when the festival-goers spot a very special magical golden pear on the ground, Prince Wednesday is the only one little enough to reach it.
Daniel Is Big Enough to Help Dad — Dad Tiger is building a playhouse, and Daniel wants to help out. Daniel is frustrated that he is not big enough to use the grown up tools. Dad Tiger shows Daniel that there are things he can do to help that he's just the right size for. 10:00am

Neighborhood Thank You Day— The neighborhood celebrates Thank You Day by putting notes in the Thank You Tree. Daniel has trouble deciding what to put in his note. Then, when a gust of wind blows the notes off of the tree, Mr. McFeely saves the day by catching and delivering everybody's thank you notes! 10:30am

Wind in the Web — Elinor and her friends volunteer to help Mr. Raccoon put up a sign for his bakery, but the sign keeps blowing away in the fall breeze. After Elinor observes a spider in its web and how the wind doesn't seem to affect it at all, she learns things that are wide will catch the wind, but if they have lots of holes like a spider's web, they will not. They try this new idea on their sign and cut holes in it, and it works. Problem solved, and just in time for all the folks to notice the sign and buy Mr. Raccoon's yummy baked treats!
The Pokey Plan — It's Plant Day at school and Elinor is super excited to get a beautiful plant to take home. When she gets a cactus, she's a little disappointed at first, but after some careful observations, she and her friends learn lots of cool things about it, like how it grows in the desert, how it doesn't need much water and how the spikes keep it safe. Elinor decides her cactus is the coolest plant ever! 11:00am

Classic in the Jurassic: Turtle and Theropod Race — The Pteranodon family is super excited to be traveling to the "Classic in the Jurassic," an Olympic-type competition in which different dinosaur teams representing the three Mesozoic time periods will compete in various contests. Today's competition is a race between turtle and theropod teams. When the fast-running theropods all get tangled up at the finish line, the race comes down to the slow-moving turtles. It's an exciting race as the turtles are neck and neck! Who will win this pre-historic match up?
Hungry, Hungry Carnivores — Buddy, Tiny and Mrs. Pteranodon are eating lunch at Pteranodon Terrace, and even though they've just eaten a big fish meal, Buddy's tummy is still grumbly-hungry. Mom understands that because Buddy is a carnivore he needs meat, so she takes the kids to the Dining Car on the Dinosaur Train to get him some carrion. While dining, Laura Giganotosaurus tells Buddy that the best meal she ever ate was prepared by her cousin, Chef Carson Carcharodontosaurus. 12:30pm

Mindy's Moon Bounce House — Jet gives a special birthday gift to Mindy that allows her to defy gravity. She has so much fun hovering above everyone, the others have to convince her to come back to Earth in time for her party. Curriculum: Gravity is a natural phenomenon by which all physical bodies attract one another. Gravity gives weight to physical objects and causes them to fall towards the ground when dropped. 6:30am

Shutter Monkey— Betsy's "Out of Sight Shapes" entry for the photo contest is sure to win first prize--that is until George and Steve accidentally ruin her pictures. With some help from Steve, George runs around town trying to re-shoot the photographs. But finding the hidden shapes in things is hard for a little monkey! Can George snap 4 pictures of 4 shapes by 4:00...or are Betsy's prize-winning photos out of sight for good? 9:30am

The Neighborhood Votes— The Tiger family is going to Clock Factory Park today to hear a big announcement from King Friday. Daniel has to make several choices throughout the day, culminating in one BIG group decision: King Friday announces that the kids can choose one new piece of playground equipment and everyone gets to speak up for what they want by voting! 10:30am

Elinor Wonders Whyscience

Bird Song — Elinor's Dad is having trouble sleeping in because of the noisy birds outside his window, so Elinor decides to find out why birds sing, and hopefully get her Dad a little peace and quiet. Ari and Olive join her, and the kids come to realize birds sing to communicate, just like how we talk to communicate. The next morning, Elinor uses a whistle to call the bird away so her dad can finally get some sleep.
No Need to Shout — Elinor loses her voice just before she and her friends are supposed to sing their song for the class. She needs to figure out another way to perform, so she and her friends decide to observe nature outside for some ideas. They notice that all sorts of animals use different ways to communicate by using actions instead of words, like a dog wagging its tail vigorously or a baby crying. This gives Elinor the idea that she can act out the actions of the song during their presentation. The show must go on! 11:00am

Cheer Up, Archie— Pinkalicious and Jasmine are worried that Archie the pinkfish is bored in his fishbowl so they take him outside to play. When that doesn't cheer him up, they go to Aqua the merminnie for help! 12:00pm

dinosaur trainZeppelin: Waterfalls — The Pteranodon kids are riding the Dinosaur Train with friend and fellow pterosaur, Quincy Queztalcoatlus. When they pass by a waterfall, Buddy comments on how big it is! Quincy's dad mentions a giant waterfall at the edge of the Western Interior Sea. Mr. Conductor gives a lesson about waterfalls and then suggests a unique and amazing way to view the giant falls - from above!
Zeppelin: Atoll— When the Pteranodon family spots Annie and her T. Rex herd migrating to follow the food, the Pteranodon kids wonder if other creatures, even marine mammals, also migrate. The Conductor flies the Pteranodon family over the ocean in the Dinosaur Train Zeppelin to look for Polycotylus, a type of marine reptile that does migrate in the ocean. 12:30pm

So, the kids make a new cozy spot in the sun for their lizard friends. Eventually, the lizards move and Mrs. Beaver is able to build the bench.
Feathers— When Ari finds a particularly cool feather and puts it in his cap, Elinor starts to wonder why birds have feathers in the first place. It's time for more observations! The group splits up and each of the kids observe interesting birds and conclude that birds need feathers for different reasons: to fly, to stay warm, and for decorations, sort of like their very own version of clothes!
